Tempe Joint Soreness Guide
Stem cell clinic Tempe: local activity and access
This page covers Tempe activities and nearby clinic routes. Walking, biking, and court play don’t stress joints alike. Changing one activity may help you find the cause.
Tempe activity can keep a joint busy
A long walk may tire your knee or hip. Reaching overhead may bother your shoulder instead. You’ll want to change the activity that hurts.
The lake and courts stress different joints
The Town Lake loop runs about five miles. Even flat ground can tire a sore joint. You don’t have to finish the loop.
Hayden Butte adds climbing and a steeper walk down. Your knee may hurt more on the descent. Don’t continue if soreness keeps rising.
Court play adds quick stops and overhead reaches. Biking uses a steadier motion. You’ll get clearer advice when you name the activity.
Small activity changes can calm soreness
Try shorter outings on separate days. Don’t test every activity at once. Give your joint time to settle.
Note the soreness later that day. Check it again the next morning. Don’t build up unless the ache stays mild.
Use a rail on steps when needed. Supportive shoes may make walking easier. Your doctor can set the cane so it won’t strain your hand.
South Tempe is closer to Chandler
McClintock Road becomes Dobson Road at the Chandler line. The clinic is at 1100 S. Dobson Rd., Suite 210, Chandler. Much of south Tempe won’t need a freeway.
Scottsdale may be nearer for north Tempe. That clinic is at 9220 E. Mountain View Rd., Suite 210. Loop 101 works from the northeast side.
Traffic can change either drive. Check it before you leave. You’ll want your notes, medicines, and old X-rays.
